Midniter is the indie electronic project from queer, Charlotte-based singer-songwriter, Nic Pugh.

A traveling musician for almost 20 years, Pugh’s past has been playing in mostly punk and rock’n’roll bands, with highlights including Paint Fumes and Jaggermouth.

Creating Midniter in January 2024, the project formed as an antithesis to his previous guitar bands, replacing guitars with synths and samplers while parented by 70s proto punk/glam and 2000s indie sleaze.
